My bank deducted TDS on FD interest. Do I lose it?

What is 80TTA?
A deduction of up to ₹10,000 a year on savings account interest, for people under 60. FD and RD interest doesn't count.
What is 80TTB?
For residents aged 60 or older: up to ₹50,000 a year on interest from savings accounts, FDs and RDs with banks, co-operative banks and post offices. Seniors use 80TTB instead of 80TTA.
Can I claim 80TTA under the new regime?
No. Neither 80TTA nor 80TTB is available under the new regime.
Does FD interest count for 80TTA?
No. Only savings account interest counts if you're under 60.
Does interest from company FDs count?
No. Only deposits with banks, co-operative banks and post offices count.
