Yes, for most employees, since FY 2018-19, when the ₹1,600-a-month exemption was replaced by the standard deduction.
Who gets ₹3,200 a month tax-free?
Employees who are blind, deaf and dumb, or orthopaedically handicapped with a disability of the lower limbs.

What about travel for work?
